AnsweredMe

Answering machines nowadays don’t really give any answers. AnswerMe assists sales teams by qualifying inbound sales calls when there is no one available to answer. Our product enhances customer service for both calling customers and sales development teams.
Customer Problem: Start-up sales teams and Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs) alike are overwhelmed by the call volume they receive at all hours. Voicemails are left and never heard. Customers who are calling businesses to get help are not getting answers and SMBs who are overwhelmed are missing out on acquiring and retaining customers. Google reports that 39% of people who want to make a purchase frequently use the phone to call a business. Billions of dollars are lost due to this inefficiency, and a quick and affordable solution would save sales leads before they’re gone.
Our Solution: When a customer calls the company and no one is available to answer the phone, the AnswerMe platform sends a hyperlink over text to the customer, which opens a mobile browser website. The website’s easy-to-use interface with slidable data points and autofill technology facilitates data transfer to customizable fields. The data can be integrated with the company’s existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. Customers are directed to the right department, a lead profile is created, and the interaction is smoother.

Gloveless

Gloveless is a soccer training analytics platform that generates insights through a piece of soccer training equipment that is a superior simulation of a goalkeeper in net compared to anything on the market, in order to keep practices and pickup games competitive and realistic. This device serves as a goalkeeper in formal practice settings in the instance that a team does not have enough goalies, one or more are injured, or the goalies are training on their own during a practice or scrimmage. It also works for informal settings like a pick-up game where there may not be enough goalkeepers to begin with, which results in either untrained field players substituting as goalkeepers in net or creating unique scoring rules to compensate for the lack of trained goalies, both of which result in a corrupted forms of the game and competition, making those sessions less productive and effective. @now

Navigating the balance between having a satisfying social life and keeping up with academic and extracurricular commitments can prove challenging. The solution we have created is to marry the instant gratification of social media with the fulfillment that comes from face-to-face interaction. Unlike other social applications, @now is not focused on the possibility of a connection, but rather on forging connections instantaneously. The idea is simple: @now’s philosophy is to maximize free time and minimize social planning, by connecting users with their friends who are also free in that given moment and are interested in the same activities.

Aura Therapeutics

Aura Tx’s idea is to take an existing antibody and apply proprietary modifier(s) generated from Aura Tx’s “Ally Platform” to the antibody to generate a modified antibody with the desired improved properties. For example, our bispecific modifier can convert a non-bispecific antibody into a bispecific antibody, and this Ally Platform technology can greatly increase the efficacy and overall performance of antibody-based therapies in development and those to be developed.

College Sherpa

Student-university fit is a major problem since more than a third of all college students transfer, with half of them transferring more than once - students need better access to real, unfiltered information for both the admissions and enrollment processes. College Sherpa connects high school and community college students to undergraduates at their dream schools. Through a platform that matches prospective students to like-minded undergraduates, applicants will have the chance to set up calls with current students and receive genuine and tailored information on a school’s admissions process, academic programs, extracurriculars, social life, and more.

Kitshins

Kitshins is a digital index and community aimed at serving a new category of chefs and the food lovers who follow & buy from them, a two-sided network matching chefs and their food with interested eaters. In the last few years, a new class of chefs has emerged, who market directly to consumers, rather than working at traditional restaurants. The initial objective of Kitshins is to create an index and map that serves a promotional tool for chefs and a discovery tool for new consumers.

Passable

We are seeking to improve security in pre-secondary schools by pairing smart software with device ubiquity. Security in K-12 schools relies on reactive responses, not proactive responses: despite the protocols and massive budgets, students and faculty operate under a false pretense that "nothing could ever happen," an attitude that ignores a growing number of school shootings and violent incidents in the US. Schools are demanding measures, whether policy, software, or protocols, that improve response time and decrease the passiveness of security in its current state.

Gloveless

The goalie position in soccer is the hardest to fill and playing soccer without them causes scoring rules to change or forces players to play the position who are not properly trained to do so. In both cases, transference to live match play drops drastically and risk for injury increases dramatically. Gloveless is a soccer training/ match play device that simulates the movement and presence of a live goalie in net for times (practices, scrimmages, and pickup games) when two competent goalies are not available.

Lief

Lief is a nanny-sharing service that employs nannies and provides care for 2-3 infants (age 3mo. to 3yrs.) in one of their parents' homes. We’re reimagining infant care through addressing the largest issue in the industry head-on: the high attrition rate of nannies. We are placing nannies at the center of the model, enabling them to earn more money through removing physical overhead costs and facilitating multi-family work, in addition to providing steady employment, benefits, training, and tech-enabled solutions. We facilitate a matching process among the parents sharing care, and a matching process to the nanny, as well as provide ongoing support and services to both our nanny employees and parent customers.

Persian Natural Skincare

Growing up, my grandma and I would create at-home face masks with traditional Persian ingredients (e.g., rose water, saffron). She taught me the importance of utilizing natural ingredients to help with any types of skincare issues, such as acne or dryness. My goal is to launch a skincare company rooted in the lessons I learned growing up to provide consumers with a natural and clean skincare product that works.
